Vondalee M. Langley

Vondalee M. Langley, 88, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Plaza West Regional Health Center in Topeka.  Vondalee M. Mast was born on March 8, 1929 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Morris and Anna Thornton Mast.   She was joined in marriage to Paul Milton Langley Sr., in August of 1949 in Topeka. Vondalee and Paul lived most of their married live in Topeka, before moving to Hot Springs, Arkansas where they spent over twenty five years. Their union was broken by Paul’s death on September 2, 2000. Vondalee moved to Topeka in 2008 to be near her family and had been living at Plaza West since September 1, 2016.  She will live on in the hearts of her daughters, Sandra Y. Langley of Topeka, Mary E. Applehans of Topeka and Cathy A. Buehler of Mayetta; sons, Paul M. Langley, Jr. of Eskridge and Larry L. Langley of Topeka; eleven grandchildren.  Vondalee was preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul Sr.; sister, Nadine Turner and brothers, Carroll and Fred.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Keene Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Plaza West and sent in care of the VanArsdale Funeral Home at P.O. Box #338, Eskridge, Kansas 66423.
