Timothy Ryan Lewis

Timothy Ryan Lewis, 49, passed away, Tuesday, January 25, 2025 in Topeka.  

He was born January 9, 1976 the third son of Keith and Jane Sullivan Lewis. Tim grew up on the family farm, a place dear to his heart throughout his life.

Tim proudly served eight years in the United States Navy.  He was stationed on the Destroyer USS Benfold which introduced him to adventures throughout the world. During his military service he gained experiences in San Diego, Philadelphia and various places in Asia. 

Tim has been described as a creative free spirit. Constantly learning and looking ahead to see what mysteries and new experiences would come next. 

Tim's cherished memory will live on in the hearts of his daughter, Ashley Lewis her husband D.J. and grandsons, Ezekiel and Zion of Rockford, Illinois; his mother, Jane Lewis of Osage City, Kansas; brothers, Todd Lewis and his wife Linda of Brooklyn, New York; Michael Lewis and his partner Amanda of Topeka, Kansas; extended family and a community of friends.  Tim was preceded in death by his father, Keith Lewis and brothers, Matt and Mark Lewis. He was also preceded by "Rowdy", his beloved dog and companion for many years.
