Steven Clifton Jones

Steven Clifton Jones, 66, of Osage City, KS, passed away Thursday evening, July 21, 2022, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka, KS.
Steven was born February 24, 1956, in Ottawa, KS; the son of Arthur L. and Emily Cleo (Cannady) Jones. In 1989, he married Christine Miller Houghton and together they had one daughter, Kelsey. They later separated, but remained friends. In 2020, he met his life partner, Christy. Steven was a member of the United Methodist Church in Osage City. For fun, he enjoyed fishing, going out to eat, and cruising around town to visit with friends. He especially loved family gatherings and spending time with his grandkids, daughter, Kelsey, and son-in-law, Josh.
Preceding him in death are both parents, Arthur and Cleo Jones; and one brother, Art Jones.
His loving memory lives on in the hearts of his daughter, Kelsey Jones (Josh); four grandchildren, Brayden, Emily, Harper, and Christopher; and one sister, Susie Peterson.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022, 3:00 PM at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, Osage City, KS. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family, c/o VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N 6th St, Osage City, KS 66523.
