Roy Samuel Rymill

Roy Samual Rymill, 80, Spring Hill, KS passed away May  22, 2020 at Hospice House, Olathe Medical, Olathe , KS.
Roy  was born September 24, 1939 in Sioux City, Iowa to William s. and Louis  I. (Rose) Rymill. He grew up in the  Sioux City area, where he was a graduate of Central High School. Roy graduated from University of South Dakota with a Bachelors in Geology and Math. He married Sandra K Harris on June 6, 1964 in South Sioux City, Nebraska. They became parents to three sons: Andrew, Matthew, and Jonathan, and moved to Spring Hill, Kansas in 1978.Roy S. Rymill was a SGT E-5 US Army  from Nov 1964 to Nov 1969 in Third Army Division. Roy later worked  as  FBI Special Agent for twenty years  and then worked for Union Pacific as conductor. He was a member of the assembly Of God Church.  Roy was preceded in death by  his beloved  wife Sandra K. Rymill, his parents and Sister Joan Johansen. He is survived by sons Andrew and Jonathan of the home, son Matthew of Ottawa, Kansas, and grandchildren Jacob and Lauren Rymill.  Direct Burial at Memorial Cemetery, Sioux City, Iowa has taken place on May 29, 2020. VanArsdale Funeral Home of LeRoy, Kansas handled arrangements.
