Ronnie Lee Wade

RONNIE L. WADE OSAGE CITY- Ronnie L. Wade, 76, passed away, Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Peterson Nursing Home in Osage City. Ronnie Lee Wade was born February 11, 1939 in Glouster, Ohio, the son of Vernon J. "Spurt" and Mary Elizabeth "Liddy" (Morrison) Wade. He graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in Gahanna, Ohio. He was joined in marriage to Gloria L. Davis, they divorced. He later married Mary Kathleen Martin on July 9, 1982. Kathy preceded him in death on May 12, 2015. He served in United Air Force for 40 years until retirement in 2000. Ronnie will be remembered by his, daughters, Romona Wade Smith of Osage City, April (Paul) Marx of Beaver Creek, Ohio and Crystal Wade of Houston, Texas; James R. (Eleanor) Wade of Greensboro, North Carolina, Ronald (Dena) Wade of Woodruff, South Carolina and Terry (Sally) Wade of McComb, Michigan; ten grandchildren and five great-grandren. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, Ocotber 19, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Osage City. Burial in Barclay Cemetery in Barclay, Kansas. Family will be receiving friends, Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
