Richard W. Carlson, 47, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at his home in Topeka.
Richard William Carlson was born February 20, 1972 in Emporia, KS, the son of Richard Joseph and Janet “Susie” (Bolyard) Carlson. He graduated Osage City High School in 1990. He was working as a pest control exterminator in Topeka.
Richard will be forever remembered by his mother, Janet “Susie” Carlson of Osage City; his daughter, Amanda Carlson of Wichita; three sisters, Sandy (Gary) Griffith of Osage City, Kim (Kevin) Conner of Osage City and Sally Carlson of Lawrence and seven nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Joseph Carlson.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, February 10, 2020 at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Family will be receiving friends an hour before service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth, Osage City, KS 66523.
