REBECCA R. “BECKY” SETTERSTROM

EMPORIA- Rebecca R. “Becky” Setterstrom, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at her home in Emporia.

Rebecca Rae Cline was born November 22, 1947, in Coldwater, Kansas, the daughter of Raymond E. and Waneta W. (Tucker) Cline. She graduated from Coldwater High School in 1966. She attended a year of business school.

Becky was joined in marriage to John B. Setterstrom on December 10, 1988, in Linwood, Kansas. 

She was the office manager for Settterstrom Chiropractic and had an antique and craft store called “Old Glory” in downtown Emporia. She was known for her creativity, painting and cooking.

Becky will be forever remembered by her husband, John, of the home; daughter, Meredith (Joe) Templeton of Emporia; son, Mason (Kelly) Lousch of Wichita; step-daughter, Heather A. Setterstrom of San Francisco, California; step-son, Andrew Setterstrom (Rosa) of Chicago; a sister-in-law, Sylvia Cline of South Carolina; six grandchildren, Rylie (Broc) Finch of Council Grove, Trey Templeton of Emporia, Eryn Templeton of Emporia, Parker Lousch of Wichita, Avery Lousch of Wichita and Isabel Setterstrom of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Cline.

A private family graveside service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Emporia. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday evening, September 29, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home, 107 W. Sixth, Lebo, Kansas.
