Maxine B. Ratcliff

Maxine B. Ratcliff, 88, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Eureka Nursing Center. She was born July 29, 1926 in Burlington, Kansas the daughter of John L.. and Margaret Jane Sinclair Kerby. She attended the Line Grade School and later Madison High School. Maxine was joined in marriage to Jack Ratcliff on February 7, 1946 in Emporia. They made their home in Hamilton for many years before moving to their farm north of Hamilton in 1971. She was a proud homemaker. Her memberships included the Hamilton United Methodist Church and the Hamilton U.M.W. She will be forever held in the hearts of her husband, Jack of their home; a daughter, Jeanette Pharm of Las Vegas; a sister, Lois Wernli of Parsons; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
