Max M. Freeman, Jr.

Max M. Freeman, Jr., 58, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Osage Nursing Center in Osage City.

Max Maynard Freeman, Jr. was born October 21, 1964 in Emporia, the son of Max M. and Sharolet Kay (Hannigan) Freeman, Sr.. He graduated from Osage City High School in 1982.

He loved clocks, fishing, bowling and baseball, and most of all, going for rides in the pickup with his dad.

Max Jr. will be forever remembered by his father, Max Sr.; a sister, Tina (Lonnie) Beckwith of Topeka; a nephew, Corey (Danielle) Roberts of Lawrence and a great-niece, Emersyn Sharolet Roberts of Lawrence.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his mother, Sharolet.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2022 at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Cremation will follow service. Family will receive friends an hour before service.
