Mary A. Keller

Mary A. Keller, 94, formerly of Osage City, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Bethany Home in Lindsborg, Kansas.

Mary A. Nowlin was born November 4, 1929, in Harveyville, Kansas, the daughter of Alvia W. and Helen M. (Bartram) Nowlin. She graduated Osage City High School in 1947.

Mary was joined in marriage to John G. Keller on June 24, 1950, in Osage City. To this union, three children were born, Vicki, Sheri and Johnnie.

She worked as a Day Care Provider for 42 years in Osage City and a homemaker for her family.

Mary will be forever remembered by a daughter, Vicki R. Ross of Arlington, Texas; a son, Johnnie A. “JAK” Keller of Salina, Kansas; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her, parents; husband, Johnny; a daughter, Sheri L Shepherd and a granddaughter, Kerri Ann Ross.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2024, at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Family will receive friends an hour before service. Burial to follow at Alpine Cemetery, south of Osage City. Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth, Osage City, Kansas 66523.
