MARY KATHLEEN "KATHY" WADE OSAGE CITY- Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Wade, 65, of Osage City, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Midland Hospice Care in Topeka. Mary Kathleen Martin was born April 3, 1950 in Topeka, the daughter of James"Sarge" and Ada "Bobbie" (Selman) Martin. She graduated from Osage City High School in 1968. She graduated from Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, North Carolina as a registered nurse. Kathy married Ronnie Lee Wade on July 9, 1982 in Osage City. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Osage City, United Methodist Women and Elizabeth Circle at the church. She will be remembered by her daughters, Romona Smith of Osage City and April (Paul) Marx of Beaver Creek, Ohio; two sons, James R.(Eleanor) Wade of Greenboro, North Carolina and Ronald (Dena) Wade of Woodruff, South Carolina; a sister, Margaret Phillips of Osage City; two brothers, Russell Martin of Osage City and James Martin of Osage City; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pamela Woods. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Osage City. Burial will follow at Barclay Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel.
