Julie Lynn (Wassom) Madrigal

Julie Lynn Madrigal passed from life on February 21st 2017 at her home in Emporia, KS. She is survived by her children, Steven (Alexa) Mason of Malvern, AR, LaDonna Stogner of Little Rock, AR and three grandchildren. Other survivors include one brother, Daniel W. Wassom, Elmdale, KS, Tammy D Robison of Lincoln City, OR, Larriat S Schulte, Lebanon, OR, Kathy A Keyes, Coos Bay, OR, and Patricia J. Collier of Montezuma, IN.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Larry W Wassom, and Anna M Wassom, both of Elmdale.

Julie will be remembered by her love of and creativity for artistic things. She was adept at drawing and wood burning pictures, and often her thoughts in poetry. She crocheted numerous blankets, usually giving them to others in need. Her love for fishing, however, exceeded any other activity she engaged in, and she took every opportunity to go. She was always in search of "the bigger one" or "the one that got away."
According to her wishes, there will be no service or memorial. Her desire to be cremated will be carried out.
