Jill Chaffain Brozek

March 21, 1971 — April 19, 2025

Burlington

Jill Chaffain Brozek, a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, Mimi, and friend, passed away on April 19, 2025, at her home surrounded by her most treasured gift, family.

Jill was born on March 21, 1971, the daughter of Earnie Chaffain and Peggy Ervin Chaffain where she grew up in Hartford, Kansas.

Surviving family members include her husband, Mike Brozek of the home; parents, Peggy and Earnie Chaffain of Burlington; brother, Chad (Wanda) Chaffain of Waverly, and numerous others.

Jill was eager to step into the world and make a difference by starting college while she was still in high school. Her passion for caring for others led her into the field of nursing where she helped countless people. Her drive was undeniable as she was the first nurse within her company to land a sales job with no sales experience; making the impossible possible. She thrived in her career, making a positive impact on others. Jill’s steadfast drive led to many professional accomplishments such as 3-time President’s Club Winner, 4-time Regional Winner, and her most-valued award, Great Plains Regional Most Valuable Rock Star.

Jill lived every moment to its fullest. She had a zest for travel, exploring new places to make memories, cherishing the beauty of the world around her. Above all else, Jill’s greatest joy was her friends and family. A natural hostess, she found happiness in filling her home with love, laughter, and incredible meals, creating cherished memories with those she held closest. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion made her the heart of every gathering and the best friend to so many.

Jill wanted to leave you with some words of wisdom:

Time is a precious gift… Wasting it is a sin

Takes a village to care for each other… and hope you all take care of each other

After a year-long battle with breast cancer, Jill left this adventure to pursue the next.
