Jennifer Marie Bergstrom

Jennifer Marie Bergstrom, 34, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at her home in Emporia.
She was born July 25, 1986 in Ft. Stewart, Georgia the daughter of Adam and Jeanne Fellers Bergstrom. As a self proclaimed military brat, Jennifer and her family lived on several military bases throughout the United States. She spent time growing up in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and Ft. Ord in California.
In 2003 she moved to Lebo where she attended Lebo High School. Jennifer remained in Lebo before moving to Emporia in 2015. Jennifer considered herself to be a bit acentric and had a fascination with Egyptian art and culture, Theoretical Physics and Space. She would have been the first person to sign up to go to Mars. Jennifer loved Star Wars and enjoyed spending time bonding with her father and sharing a love for space.
She will live on in the hearts and memories of her mother, Jeanne Bergstrom of Lebo; her father and step mother, Adam and Allison Bergstrom of Leavenworth, WA.; a sister, Amy Atchison and her husband Justin of Lebo; nephews, Jeremiah and Harrison Atchison of Lebo; her fiancée, Spencer Sellmer of Emporia; paternal grandparents, Bruce and Millie Bergstrom of Lebo; Spencer’s parents, Robert and Carla Sellmer of Sanford, Florida; numerous extended family and a host of friends.

Cremation is planned with private services at a later date.
