Jeffery Dean Fellers

Jeffery Dean Fellers, 54, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023 at his home in Emporia.

He was born December 31, 1968 in Emporia, Kansas the son of Glenn Dale and Ellen M.

Korbe Fellers. Jeff attended Waverly High School and graduated with the Class of 1987.

Jeff worked at Dream Homes in Lebo in the years following graduation. In 1991 Jeff took a position as an electrician with Local Union #226 I.B.E.W. This is a job that he loved and he remained engaged in until 2017.

He will live on in the hearts and memories of his sisters, JoAnn Fellers of Emporia,

Janice Aucoin of Lebo and Jeanne Bergstrom of Lebo; a brother, Jerry Fellers and his wife Jennifer of Shawnee, Kansas; numerous extended family and a community of dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James D. Fellers and a niece, Jennifer Bergstrom.

Jeff lived life to the fullest and he faced death with courage and dignity. He was a shining light and encouragement to others while being excepting of his own circumstances.

Jeff's wishes were to be buried on the family lot with his parents and brother, James at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery East of Waverly, Kansas. Following Jeff's wishes there are no services scheduled.
