Helen Trout 76 of Osage City, passed away Saturday May 14, 2022 at Midland Hospice Care in Topeka.
She was born October 1, 1945 on Oakley, Kansas the daughter of Leo and Rosie Dechant Schoenberger. Helen was raised in Oakley and later moved to Osage County in 1976.
After coming to the Osage County area Helen worked at a Sewing Factory in Burlingame. She later worked as a cook at Marilyn’s Restaurant in Osage City for several years and later at a local Burlingame Restaurant.
Helen married Bill Trout on April 13, 2010. During their early years together they attended Twin Lakes Christian Fellowship Church in Osage City.
She will live on in the hearts and memories of her loving husband of twelve years Bill of their home in Osage City; a daughter, Julie Britschge of Burlingame, Kansas; two sons, Butch Burris of Oakley, Kansas, Brant Britschge of Burlingame;three step daughters, Peggy Zirkel of Harveyville, Candice Schmitendorf of Osage City and Christina Bowers Trout; two step sons, Willard “Bill” Trout Jr., of Osage City and David Trout of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Leo Schoenberger and Marvin Schoenberger; nineteen grandchildren and many extended family and friends. Helen was preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria.
