Gladys May Mautz, 92, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Neosho Rapids, Kansas. ��She was born February 23, 1923 in Hartford, Kansas the daughter of Samuel Roy and Nettie May Baysinger Madden. Gladys attended Hartford High School and graduated with the Class of 1941. She was a homemaker and had also worked at Hartford Inc. as a C.M.A. for twenty years until her retirement in 1992. She helped with penny suppers at the Hartford United Methodist Church during the 1960's and 1970's Gladys was married three times, Jim Coridan, Wilbur L. Textor and Willis Mautz. ��Gladys will remain in the hearts of a daughter, Tracy Holmes and Fianc̩ Joseph Reimes of Neosho Rapids; a son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Karla Textor of Emporia; three grandchildren, Carl Dreasher, Amber Gomez and Tara Flood; four great-grandchildren, Breonna, Connor, Jolee and Coby. She was preceded in death by her companion of twenty years, John Roscoe "Pickle" Dill Sr. on September 12, 1995. ��Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Memorial United Methodist Church in Neosho Rapids. Burial will follow services at Hartford Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at vanarsdalefs.com.��
