Francis "John" Watts

��Francis "John" Watts, 78, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Freeman Medical Center in Joplin, Mo. He was born November 14, 1937 in Quincy, Kansas, the son of Arthur and Anna Crouch Watts. ��John grew up and attended school in Quincy. John was joined in marriage to Ardell Buck on June 9, 1962 in Miami, Oklahoma. John worked for K.E. Snyder Well Service for 24 years.��In November of 2004 John and Ardell retired to Afton, Oklahoma. He will remain in the hearts of his wife, Ardell of their home in Afton; three daughters, Kerry (Larry) Crane of Virgil, Pam (Johnny) Schoenhals of Afton and Robin Watts (Darrel) Holtsclaw of Virgil; two sons Jarrod Watts of Hamilton and Brian Krushensky of Cottonwood Falls; six sisters, Anna Mae Hare of Coyville, Dolly Ashlock of Eureka, JoAnn Ashlock of Virgil, Faye Johnson of Eureka, Sharon Hellman of Eureka and Nellie Johnson of Howard; a brother, Arthur Ray "Bub" Watts of Virgil; fourteen grandchildren, Curtis (Megan) Swartz of Hillsboro, J.R. (Bree) Swartz of Afton, Ashley (Dustin) Schumacher of Oklahoma, Richie Swink of Wichita, Mikki Holtsclaw (Chris) of Oklahoma, Kaleb Crane of Virgil, Shelby Crane of Virgil, Rowdie Watts of Hamilton, Kelsie Olson (Justin) of Yates Center, Kourntie (John) Sanchez of Eureka, Kylie Ashlock (Shane) of Virgil, Nikole Clune of Newton, Tomas Wyrick of Afton and Shelby (Chris) King of Afton; 18 great-grandchildren and many extended family and dear friends. ��John was preceded in death by three brothers, Ken, Walter and Bert; two sisters, Adeline and Emily. ��A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM., Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Virgil Cemetery.
