Elaine Jackson

Elaine G. Jackson, 92, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at Vintage Park in Osage City.

Elaine G. Hallowell was born March 12, 1928 in Burlingame, Kansas, the daughter of Fred and Lizzie (Satterman) Hallowell. She graduated from Osage City High School in 1946.

She was joined in marriage to Fred A. “Fritz” Jackson on May 4, 1946 in Lawrence, Kansas. To this union four children were born Robert, Richard, Janice and James.

Elaine had many jobs in her life including being a school cook for many year. Her main job was taking care of her family.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Evangelical Church.

Elaine will be forever remembered by her children Robert E. (friend Jan Ogleby) Jackson of Osage City, Richard Jackson of Lyndon, Janice (Larry) Fager of Reading and James (Deanna) Jackson of Osage City.

She was preceded in death her parents, husband; a brother Arlie Hallowell and a half-sister, Helen Winans.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Evangelical Church in Osage City. Visitation will be Friday evening from 3-7 p.m. at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel with family receiving friends from 6-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior or Grace Lutheran Evangelical Church and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N.
