Edd Wayne Fuller, 64, passed away in the evening hours of September 5, 2024 at his home in Emporia, surrounded by those dearest to him.

  Edd was born September 16, 1959 in Emporia, Kansas the son of James O. and Mary M. Beach Fuller. 

  He married the love of his life, Cheryl Nokes on April 17, 1978 in Emporia, Kansas. Edd and Cheryl attended the First Baptist Church in Emporia. They enjoyed over 46 years of marriage, making memories and raising their family. 

  Edd graduated from Emporia State University. He was a Chef that turned Adjunct Professor. He taught American History for seven years at Butler County Community College and one year at Highland Community College. He was a firm believer in the truth and taught American History the way it really happened. 

  He will live on in the hearts and memories of his devoted wife, Cheryl of their home; three sons, Edd Fuller Jr. and his wife Emeline, James Fuller, his partner Kendra and their children, Hudson and Autumn; Ted Fuller, his wife, Maria and their children, Xavier, Isabelle, Diesel and Jasmyn; a daughter, Kathy Fuller; a brother James Fuller and sister-in- law Kathi; his devoted dog Beans; numerous extended family and a community of friends.

  Edd willed his earthly body to the Kansas University Medical Center for Anatomical Study. Carrying forward his love for teaching by furthering the education of many, even after his death.
