Dorothy "Dot" McLeod OSAGE CITY- Dorothy "Dot" McLeod, 92, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Dorothy Mae Hasty was born August 5, 1923 in Peterton, Kansas, the daughter of William and Stella (Lane) Hasty. She graduated from Osage City High School in 1941. Dorothy was joined in marriage to Robert Hotchkiss on February 9, 1946. He died on May 17, 1974. She later married Robert Dale McLeod on January 13, 1977 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2003. She lived most of her life around Osage City. In 2005, she moved to Leavenworth, Kansas. Dorothy will be remember by her sons, Robert (Joan) Hotchkiss, Jr. of Parkville, Missouri, Steven (Gayla) Hotchkiss of Leavenworth, Kansas, Michael (Debra) Hotchkiss of Kingman, Kansas and Randy McLeod of Chicago, Illinois; a daughter, Karen Reinert of Herington, Kansas; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, November 13, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Churh in Osage City. Mrs. McLeod will lie in state an hour before service at the church with family receiving friends till service time.
