Debra Carol Hall

Debra Carol Hall, 71, of Emporia, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Flint Hills Care in Emporia.

 She was born February 11, 1953 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Emporia, the daughter of Marshall Wilson and Doris Spencer Merwin. Deb attended Emporia High School and graduated with the Class of 1971.

 Deb worked at Emporia State Bank for numerous years before taking a job at I.B.P. on the processing side. After some time she moved up to an office position and became the secretary for the Maintenance Department. 

 She was joined in marriage to Floyd S. Hall on October 24, 1970 in the Grace United Methodist Church. They treasured over 48 years together until Floyd’s passing on April 15, 2020.

 Deb will live on in the hearts and fondest memories of her family which includes a son, Brian L. Hall and his wife Tiffany of Emporia; sisters, Roxena Brewer of Emporia, Nancy Jones of Reading and Kathy Frizell and her husband Tim of Emporia; her grandchildren, Akira Hall and Declan Hall of Emporia; numerous nieces; nephews; cousins and a community of friends.

 Deb was cremated and the family will gather for a celebration of her life at a date and time to be announced.
