Deborah Ann Wylie, 69, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at her home in Lebo.
She was born December 17, 1951 in Lawrence, Kansas the daughter of Owen and Lola Maxine Foust Steele. When she was five years old she was adopted by Clayton and Vonnie Martin.
Deborah was raised in Emporia and graduated from Emporia High School in 1969. In years past she had worked at I.B.P., Dolly Madison, Fred’s Truck Stop and later Phillips SS as a cook and waitress. Deborah worked several years at the Flying J Truck Stop in Kingman, Arizona before returning to Lebo in 2016.
She will live on in the hearts and memories of her daughters, Amanda Lynn Parker of Arkansas City, Brenda Carmichael, Draxa Wylie, Linda Sue Siebuhr of Lebo and Glenda VanGorder of ; sisters, Sue Towns, Brenda Stiles, Diana Holderman and Sharon Brickell; a brother, Brad Stiles; nineteen grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; numerous extended family and a host of dear friends.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Poole; a grandson, Tristan Parker and a great grandson, Yeremiah Parker.
A celebration of Deborah’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Lebo Baptist Church. Her ashes will be inurned at Fairview Cemetery southeast of Olpe at a later date.
