Dale D Allen

Dale D. Allen, age 82, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Brewster Place Nursing Home in Topeka, Kansas.

Dale was born January 06, 1942, at the Boothroy Memorial Hospital in Goodland, Kansas, the son of Walter W. and Dollie (Wagner) Allen. Attending both elementary and high school in Hill City, Kansas, Dale graduated with the class of 1960. He graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Agricultural Mechanization in 1975. 

Dale and Marilyn Ann Moxley were joined in marriage on May 20, 1972, spending their early married life in different locations in Northwest and Central Kansas due to their jobs. They settled in Topeka, where Marilyn taught school for many years, and Dale worked primarily in construction related industries. 

Dale is survived by his brother, Larry (Karen) Allen of Marshalltown, Iowa, his sister-in-law Sharon (Jim) Brown of Rogersville, Missouri, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Marilyn in April 2024. 

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth, Osage City, Kansas 66523. Burial service following at Osage City Cemetery.
