Clara O. Bryan

��OSAGE CITY- Clara O. Bryan, 77, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at a Topeka hospital. �� She was born October 30, 1937 in rural Osage County, the daughter of Robert W. and Grace Bickford Burns. Clara graduated from Osage City High School with the Class of 1955. She was joined in marriage to Loren Dean Bryan on December 24, 1954 in Osage City. The young couple lived briefly in Osage City before making their home southwest of Osage City near Barclay in 1961. Clara was a proud homemaker, and had worked for two years at Hallmark Cards. She was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Osage City and volunteered at ECAT in Osage City. She is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, Loren Bryan of their home; two daughters, Debbie O'Connor (Ron) of Baldwin City and Linda Vandevord (Tom) of Burlingame; son, Rick Bryan (Zina) of Osage City; three sisters, Dolly Brecheisen of Lyndon, Donna Hannigan of Osage City and Eva Anstaett of Burlingame; brother, Earl Burns of Osage City; nine grandchildren, Laura Copus (Travis), Lisa Marx (Eric), Jason O'Connor (Serena), Casey O'Connor (Tamara), Miranda Bryan, Haley Bryan, John Bryan, Rebecca Vandevord and Bryan Vandevord (Samantha); ten great-grandchildren, Nolan and Nash Copus, Brayden and Makenna Marx, Taylor and Tessa O'Connor, Tanner and Brenden O'Connor and Bryleigh and Elliana Vandevord. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bobby, Charlie and Cliff; sister, Alta Mae Weeks and infant twin sisters, Iva Lou and Evelyn Jean. ��Cremation is planned with memorial services being held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Church Fellowship Hall.
