Charles Wayne “Charlie” Bloomfield, 59, of rural Eskridge, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.
He was born October 20, 1961 in Topeka, the son of L. Wayne and Gladys (Markin) Bloomfield. He graduated from Mission Valley High School in 1979. Charlie lived his entire life around Eskridge.
Charlie was joined in marriage to Amelia “Amy” Jolene Elliott on May 26, 2001 in Rural Eskridge.
He was working as a maintenance painter for Stormont Vail Regional Health Hospital. Charlie loved hunting and most of all, raccoon hunting.
Charlie will be forever remembered by his wife, Amy, of the home; two daughters, Dallas Bloomfield of Iowa and Adaline Bloomfield of the home; two sons, Chad Bloomfield of Charlotte, North Carolina and Wyatt Bloomfield of Auburn, Kansas; mother, Gladys Bloomfield of Eskridge and a sister, Nina Imthurn of Maple Hill, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Bloomfield; a sister, Nancy Good and a son, Roper.
A celebration of life gathering will be held, Monday, May 24, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Dover Community Building in Dover, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charles Wayne Bloomfield Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date. Cremation will be taken place and inurnment at a later date at Mission View Cemetery near Eskridge. Condolences may be expressed at Vanarsdalefs.com.
