Charles "Glen" Smith

Charles “Glen” Smith, 86, departed this life in the evening hours of Friday, December 20, 2024.

 He was born on April 9, 1938 near Hartford, Kansas the son of Ernest Glen and Fern Marie Sutton Smith. His family later moved to Lebo where he attended and graduated from Lebo High School.

 Glen started and operated many businesses in and around Lebo and was a real estate agent and appraiser until his retirement.

 He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley of their home; two sons, Michael John Smith of Oskaloosa and Ronald Smith of Lebo; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; numerous other family and a community of friends.

 Private graveside services to be held at Lincoln cemetery in Lebo. Memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church and sent in care of the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home & Crematory. Condolences may be expressed at vanarsdalefs.com.
