Charles A. Chenoweth

Charles A. Chenoweth, known to many as "Chuck," passed away on June 30, 2024 in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on January 14, 1959, in Harveyville, Kansas.

Chuck had a successful career as a brick mason, leaving a lasting impact throughout the area before his recent retirement due to health reasons. He was truly passionate about the outdoors, finding joy in activities such as fishing and cutting firewood. Chuck was an accomplished baker and loved making homemade pies.

In September of 1979, Chuck married Wanda Pribble, and together they began their journey in Harveyville, where they raised their family. After a brief stay in Louisiana, they returned to Harveyville in 1985. Although Chuck and Wanda later parted ways through divorce, the memories of their time together remained cherished.

Chuck will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his surviving family members: daughters Sarah Gartner of Topeka, Emily Donigan of Grandview, Mo.; sons Josh Chenoweth of Emporia and Matt Chenoweth of Burlington; sisters Lori Luna of Emporia, Mary Thowe of Belleview and Bobbi Rayzor of Harveyville; step-sister Julie Chenoweth of Arkansas; brothers Bruce Chenoweth of Burlington, Doug Chenoweth of Arkansas, and Milton Chenoweth of Paxico; eleven grandchildren: Grayson, Maddox, Braylee, Morgan, Devan, Billy, Hallie, Charlie, Tate, Vincent and Gracelynn; along with numerous extended family members and friends who held a special place in his heart.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; a step brother, Michael Chenoweth and sister Vickie Seastrom.

His presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles A. Chenoweth's legacy lives on through the memories shared by those whose lives he touched.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M, Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home & Crematory.
