Beverly Jean Welsch

Beverly J. Welsch, 84, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Peterson Assisted Living in Osage City.

Beverly Jean Soendker was born April 8, 1939 in Oskaloosa, Kansas, the daughter of Henry and Minnie (Weller) Soendker. She graduated from Lyndon High School in 1957.

She was joined in marriage to Gene Croucher in 1959 until his death in 1966. She later married Darrell Welsch on January 10, 1975 in Osage City. He preceded her in death in 2002.

Beverly had worked at Hallmark, Osage Products and later worked as a kitchen aide at Peterson Nursing Home.

She loved flowers, camping, going fishing and to the casino.

Beverly will be forever remembered by her two daughters, Lori L. Dishman and Debra K. Keller, both of Osage City; two brothers, Clarence Soendker of Emporia and Donald (Cathy) Soendker of Topeka; three grandsons, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Richard and Charles Soendker.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Family will receive friends a hour before the service.
