Beverly A. Kaup 87, passed away on October 28, 2022 at the age of 87 years old at her home at Lakefield Place.
She was born on July 11, 1935 in Hamilton, Kansas the daughter of Elwood and Velma Crowell Holland. Beverly was a graduate of Hamilton High School.
In June of 1956 she married Thomas E. Wilkinson. Together the had two children Rick and Julie.
On July 22, 1995 Beverly married Gene Kaup. Gene and Beverly lived life to the fullest traveling together. Beverly was involved in her Sorority, several bridge clubs and Monday Study Group. Beverly was an avid supporter of Butler County Sports. Her love of sports and willingness to remain active prompted her to take up gold in her 50’s. Her highlight of golfing came while making a hole in one at the Augusta Country Club.
Beverly leaves a “Legacy of Love” behind to her step daughters Jan Miller, Juli Preisser, Jeanne Shaft, Jennifer May and her chosen daughter, Kaye Laudner. She will also live on in the hearts and memories of her 6 step-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gene; a brother, Ron Holland; her children, Rick and Julie.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Blakely Cemetery north of Madison. Beverly will lie in sate at the VanArsdale Funeral Home Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gene and Beverly Kaup Scholarship Fund at Butler County and sent in care of the VanArsdale Funeral Home P.O, Box #488, Madison, Kansas 66868.
