Betty L. Boss, 89, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at University of Kansas Health System-St. Francis Campus in Topeka.

Betty Louise Bohannan was born on November 7, 1932, in Cedar Vale, Kansas, the daughter of Newton Franklin and Mabel Izetta (Lister) Bohannan. She graduated from Cedar Vale High School in 1950.

When the store closed, Betty owned and operated her own antique store called "The Attic." She loved anything antique or collectible, was an avid garage saler, and loved filling Christmas sacks for her family with all of her special buys.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, and former member of the Osage City Chamber of Commerce.

Betty will forever be cherished and remembered by her husband, Floyd, Sr., of the home; two daughters, Debra Boss of Topeka and Tina (Nolan) Boss-McIver of Council Grove; a son, Larry Boss of Osage City; twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, four brothers, and her son, Floyd Chester Boss, Jr.
