Ann Woodbury Lusk

Ann Woodbury Lusk, 93, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at her home in Osage City, Kansas.
She was born April 13, 1928, the daughter of Howard K. and Rachel Ann (Evans) Woodbury. She attended the schools in the Olivet area and graduated from Lyndon High School. Ann attended college, first at Washburn University in Topeka, KS, where she was a member of Alpha Phi. She continued her education at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS, where she earned her bachelor’s degree.
Ann was united in marriage to Harold R. Lusk on February 11, 1951, on the Woodbury Family Farm in Olivet, Kansas. After 60 years together, Harold preceded her in death on February 2, 2013.
After starting her career in education, Ann became actively involved in the rental business in Osage City. She was a member of the Osage City Library Board, Sorosis Club, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Osage City. She was also a member of the Kansas Livestock Association.
Ann is survived by her two children, James Lusk (Nancy) of Overland Park, Kansas and Luree Lusk (Terry) of Wichita, KS; four grandchildren, David Anderson-Lusk (Joanna) of Ft. Campbell, KY, Thomas Lusk (Ali) of Phoenix, AZ, Rachel Ann Lusk of Osage City, KS, and Nathan Lusk (Lauren) of Olympia, WA; and two great-grandchildren, Zelda Ann and Leo Lusk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Lusk; both parents, and brother, Fred Woodbury of Quenemo, KS.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 8, 2021 at the First Presbyterian Church in Osage City. A luncheon will follow, and all are welcome to attend. Masks are encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Osage City Library or First Presbyterian Church of Osage City, sent c/o VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. 6th St, Osage City, KS 66523.
