Rebecca Yvonne Criqui

Rebecca Yvonne Criqui, 50, years old of Lebo, passed away Wednesday May 3, 2023 at the Coffey County Hospital in Burlington, Kansas.

She was born May 22, 1972 in Merriam, Kansas the daughter of Perry and Michaeline Vasquez Criqui. Becky attended Lebo High School and graduated with the Class of 1990.

Becky began working in the cafeteria at I.B.P. while she was a senior in high school. She later took a position in the cafeteria at Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Station. Becky had previously worked several years as a cashier at BETO. She earned her CNA which gave her the opportunity to later work at the Osage City Nursing Center and at Life Care Center in Burlington.

Becky had many interests throughout her life which included a love of flowers, her cats and her Chihuahuas. She also loved to collect dolls. Becky was a member of the Emporia First Church of the Nazarene.

She will live on in the hearts and memories of her mother, Michaeline Criqui of Lebo; two brothers, Terry Clarence Criqui of Emporia and Arthur Wayne Criqui of Lebo; numerous extended family and a community of friends. She was preceded in death by her father Perry Criqui on April 8, 2015.

Services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo. Burial will follow services at Melvern Cemetery.
