MATTHEW EUGENE FREY

VASSAR- Matthew E. Frey, 50, of Vassar, passed away October 16, 2016 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri after a motorcycle accident.

Matthew Eugene Frey was born on December 16, 1965 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Ralph Eugene and Fay Mary (Tefft) Frey.

Matt was working construction and had worked at Jerry's Thriftway and Walmart Distribution Center in Ottawa.

He will remembered by his parents, Ralph and Fay Frey of Vassar, four sister; Amber (Stan) Meyer of North Platte, NE, Donna Frey and Joe Lucero of Vassar, KS, twin sister: Derina Hoover and partner, Michelle Yockel of Lawrence, Cindy (Doug) Weaver of Paola, KS; a brother, Ron (Denise Sortino) Frey of Lebanon, KS; four nieces; five nephews and numerous great nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Osage City, Kansas. Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 6:00 pm at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Osage City. Memorial contributions may be made to Matthew Eugene Frey Memorial Fund and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 W. Sixth, Osage City, KS 66523.
