Curtis Edward Stubbs

Curtis Edward Stubbs, 40, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Newman Regional Health in Emporia.
He was born July 16, 1976 in Emporia, Kansas the son of Harold Edward and Pamela Feuillerat Stubbs. Curtis attended Madison High School and Graduated with the Class of 1994. Following high school Curtis took classes through Butler County Community College.

Curtis began working outages in 2001 and traveled throughout the United States and Mexico , working in several nuclear power plants until 2015.
He was joined in marriage to Brandy Cannon on September 28, 1996 in Madison.
Curtis shared his love of the outdoors with his wife and children, teaching them to hunt, and fish. His best memories were made with his family and while traveling to Sturgis as often as he could.

He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Brandy of their home in Madison; daughters, Lydia Stubbs of Madison and Cursta Stryker of Fairbanks, Alaska; sons, Brett Stubbs and Joseph Stubbs of Madison; his mother, Pam Stubbs of Madison; his father and step mother, Eddie and Cheryl Stubbs of Madison; sister, Christal Lynn Mackey of Colorado Springs, Colorado; step brothers, David Crawford and Jason Crawford; step sister, Sandy Crawford Rathke; nieces and nephews, Ashley Stubbs, Haleigh Mackey, Freja Feuillerat, Arlo Feuillerat, Damen McClure, Lynnden Mackey; numerous extended family and countless friends throughout the United States.

Cremation is planned with memorial services to be announced at a later date.
